It can easily be found in Buddhism. Though Buddhism does not talk about sin, the Buddha does recommend the 8 fold path in which he urges right thinking. We are guilty of wrong thinking which results in wrong living which results in the hell of disintegration of the psychic and physical variety.
It's already happening. Just look around you, listen to the news once a day, read and watch videos on the Internet. We are low average now, passing into the disintegrated levels of mental health where we have been bouncing around for years now. .
