Militia arrest in Michigan.....

In Michigan, the Hutaree, a Christian militia group purportedly preparing to "battle the Antichrist," was raided by the FBI. Apparently, they may have conspired to murder police officers and necessitated action.

But what does this say about the effects of much of the right's choice to fearmonger on so many of the issues? And will this be the first of a broader attempt to put a lid on the kind of fanaticism that proved dangerous here? Or would that kind of effort be too little too late now?

There is nothing civil about civil wars!
